Where the Path Leads

Where the Path Leads, my first novel, is the perfect read if you love knights, castles, and noble ladies.

Emily thinks medieval times sound like great fun, so the Renaissance Faire is just the place to escape the demands of her life. But when she's magically transported back in time, it's nothing like she imagined. It might not be bad for the nobility, but Emily isn't. She doesn't want to work in the fields. And she doesn't think anyone else should have to, either. That thinking gets her in big trouble with the seneschal, the Baron's second in command.

He will resort to anything, even black magic, to get a kingdom of his own. He uses Emily to obtain rare objects of power from the enchanted Blackwood forest, which brings her in contact with the magical realm. She meets bergfolk, a fire-drake, and shadow wights, among others.

Surprisingly, her otherworldly experiences have much to teach her about real life.

The Chocolate Meteor

The Chocolate Meteor

The Chocolate Meteor brings you close to the ground to see the world from a mouse's point of view.

A caring girl named Phoebe rescues a wild mouse that she names Moosie, and so their parallel adventures begin. They both have problems with food: Moosie, finding it, and Phoebe, resisting it. Especially chocolate.

When her boyfriend gives her a big piece of chocolate that she can't seem to stop eating, Phoebe tosses it into the weeds, where it falls out of the sky to be discovered by the escaped Moosie and his mice friends. Only it seems that many creatures find the chocolate irresistible as they battle for the precious food.

Obsessions with food lead both Moosie and Phoebe to hurt those they care about and they have to look within themselves to find the way out.

UPCOMING BOOK - What Is It Worth?

In What Is It Worth?, the sequel to The Chocolate Meteor, Phoebe and Moosie again travel similar paths, this time to find success. Only it doesn't come without a price.

Both have big ambitions: Phoebe to succeed at her new job in the city, Moosie to be a good provider and lead the way to the cornfield, where all mice can thrive. But they end up rethinking their goals when their actions lead them to places they don't want to be.

Whether you're big or small, you can't forget those you care about while pursuing your ambitions.
